Section 214 b is a part of United States immigration law that says every applicant is presumed to be an intending immigrant unless they prove otherwise. If you are denied under 214 b, it means the visa officer was not convinced that you had strong home ties or that your study plans were genuine.
The F 1 visa is a non immigrant visa for students who have been accepted to study full time at a university or college in the United States. You will need an I 20 form from your school to apply for it.

As soon as you receive your admission and financial documents, you should begin your visa application. For the United States, you can apply for your F 1 visa up to 365 days before your program start date.
Most Fall intake applications open between September and January of the year before the program starts. Deadlines vary, so we help you create a timeline for your target schools.
The Fall intake (August or September) is usually the main intake in most countries. It offers more program options, scholarships, and space. Some countries also have Spring or Winter intakes, but options may be fewer.
