FOUNDER & CONSULTANT
Blessing Atakli knows what it takes to study abroad because he did it himself. He has his Bachelor’s from Ghana and his graduate education from China, the University of Michigan, and is now pursuing his PhD in the USA.
That journey taught him something important: a good essay matters, but it’s not enough. You also need to know which programs actually fund international students, understand what life looks like after graduation, and prepare for visa interviews that can make or break your plans.
In 2018, he started Greener Educational Consult to share what he learned. But he made a deliberate choice: instead of applying for students, he would teach them how to apply themselves. Why? Because students who write their own applications can explain their story in the visa interview. They learn skills they’ll use for the rest of their careers. And admissions committees can tell the difference between an authentic application and a ghostwritten one.
Since then, Greener has mentored hundreds of students who have been admitted and funded to universities in the USA, Canada, China, Italy, and other countries. The company maintains a 98% success rate.
Blessing does not just help students get admitted. He sits with them to think about what happens after school.
